@kasdeya This suggestion may be too obvious but do you have a shower seat? Preferably one with a back support?
Like @kitsunecafe mentioned I also find that cooler water is helpful. One plus side is that cooler water can be better for your skin (strips away less moisture)

I don't know, but I thought that just having symptoms was enough for a diagnosis of some kind of orthostatic intolerance?My understanding is that orthostatic intolerance is the umbrella term for POTS, NMH (Neurally Mediated Hypotension - drop in blood pressure after a delay, not seen right after standing up), and other names which I'm probably forgetting.
Also, how long was tilt test? It may take 30-40 minutes before big drop in BP

It depends on person, but for some folks with orthostatic intolerance (POTS, NMH) using an ORS (oral rehydration solution) is a more helpful than sugar free drinks.
But not Gatorade! I'm talking about Pedialyte or other ORS recipes. They have sugar (usually glucose, more easily absorbed) and that sugar helps the sodium get absorbed.
The attached image talks about a study comparing orthostatic tolerance in patients who used ORS vs. IV saline vs. nothing.

I just finished a new story called “Strange Attractor at the End of the World”! Coming in at 3,900 words (roughly 16 pages), it'll be just perfect for the upcoming Neutral Milk Hotel -inspired anthology from Hungry Shadow Press! Unfortunately, submissions don't open until December, so I'll have to sit on this a while. (Let me know if you want to beta-read in the meantime.) This one is inspired by the NMH song “I Will Bury You in Time,” and I’m quite pleased with it.

1. What a horrible thing to say!😠2. When she suggests shifting resources to "reducing and treating" consequences, what treatments are there for Long Covid?!
Roughly half of Long Covid patients end up with ME/CFS. There are meds for orthostatic intolerance (#POTS, #NMH) that reduce symptoms for some folks but otherwise not much treatment ME/CFS.
Many patients have to go on long term disability and some end up mostly housebound (me! 🙋🏻♀️) or bedbound.
