My hope was that I could somehow tame it using stuff from #bananahackers. On first boot, it required me to consent to it sending data to HMD. Immediately after connecting to WiFi it tried sending 105 packets to IPs owned by #Amazon and #Cloudflare. Opening the clamshell makes it try phoning home: 42 packets each time. My #openwrt router blocked everything.👍

Dude, that's my #N900 with an OS from 2007. It's using #rsa and I had to make an exception in two places to even make you connect. On a private network.
