A TP-Link EAP770 v1 owner says the access point corrupts large Wi-Fi downloads and that TP-Link support told him v1 is end of life. He blames Qualcomm's qca-nss-dp offload driver; the code he cites does skip cache invalidation on recycled receive buffers. Locked out of root, he says he chained CVE-2022-0185 (public January 2022) on the AP's Linux 5.4.164 kernel to disable the offload, at about 8% lower speed.
