  1. It's now running #Mastodon, #Pixelfed, #WriteFreely, #Plex media server, #Homebridge, a couple of small websites, some Python projects I'm tinkering with... still 4GB of RAM available when at peak load. I continue to be impressed.

Do any #homeautomation #homelab folks know if/how these power meters can run #tasmota? I'm understanding Tasmota works on ESP32, but ... like... is that every Tuya-type device? And will the contactor inside be controllable, and all the meters/sensors/thresholds be exposed? (Ultimate goal to get into HomeKit and Prometheus, probably via #HomeBridge)

I have also deployed some more, like , , , - but they are yet to be fully configured.

A bit tricky to mount one network share across multiple containers, but managed to get along with systemd mount mechanism.

    It’s now 3am… I guess it’s time to go to sleep…And yet, I’m watching replays…😅

  36. Checking both #Zorinos and #mintOS for compatibility with my main use cases: #Homebridge and #Jellyfin. So now I wonder which has better disk management, because mount points in Ubuntu have been a nightmare for me in that regard. Trying to specify where an external disk would mount so Jellyfin could see them reliably got me into a bricked state once.
Please don’t come at me telling me editing FSTAB is “easy”. It is NOT.

  41. After kicking the Google Nests (gens 1 & 2) out of my house last week, I realized I don't really need to run #Homebridge anymore. I am so glad it exists, and it really helped me run my IoTs from Home app for many years.
