I just discovered that there is a Mastodon client included in the KDE stuff I installed when setting up my Arch Linux system: Tokodon.

Just set it up, really cool that I now can browse Mastodon without using the browser =)

#Mastoton v4.2 で v4.3 update を待つ間にできること。

1.node.js の update。v18以上へ。

root で作業を。
https://docs.joinmastodon.org/admin/install/#node-js
の手順で行い、最後に
# apt update
擦れば、node.js 20 をインストールできる。

2. libvips の導入

@noellabo の指示通りに、ソースから install する。

/usr/local/bin および /usr/local/lib に実行ファイルができる。

vips -v

#Mastoton deliberately decided to not have some fancy algorithm to assemble my #timeline. The more the network grows, the more I think this naive approach is actually bad. Now single users flood the entire stream, which makes browsing an annoying and tiring experience. Unrolling #threads into the timeline makes this even worse.
