Impressions of #Keepass 2 vs KeepassXC.
With both, I keep having issues in using my Passkeys.
#KeepassXC:
+ has unlocking using my OS (like biometrics)
+ pretty slick own browser integration, though I sometimes don't understand why it won't match the website URL
+ more attention to tagging
#Keepass2:
+ Global hotkeys!
+ More extendable
+ Easier to search in -

Mit #Keepass2Android kann man direkt den Inhalt des QR-Codes für #totp direkt in die Datenbank einscannen und dann den Kode errechnen lassen. In #Keepass2 kann man dann den Datenbankeintrag erweitern, dass auch dieses den Kode errechnen kann.
Dann ist auch Autotype mit dem totp möglich.
Der Zugang ist dann halt ohne den Besitz eine bestimmten Gerätes möglich
Letztendlich hängt das TOP an einer 52-Zeichenkette mit Zahlen und Grußbuchstaben. -

There ya go, self hosted, military grade encryption and you hold all the keys.

CW: My morning tradegy about KeePassXC and Syncthing
@can there should be only a problem if you save changes on more than one device, while they are not in sync, at least for #keepass2 and #keepass2android
In all other cases, it should just work. -
@anzmeer Jede:r wird was anderes empfehlen. Ich setze als Grundlage auf das #KeePass2 Format. Das können viele Apps verarbeiten. Du kannst somit die App verwenden, die dir von der Oberfläche mehr liegt.
Ich verwende Strongbox (iOS und Mac). Auch schon probiert KeePassXC, das auf mehreren Plattformen läuft. -

I've been installing native Linux applications on my #pinephone, that's running #Manjaro and #kde by the way I just wish it was running #debian I have some screenshots to show. So far I've installed #mumble, #gajim, #psi #keepassxc, #keepass2 #lynx #sylpheed #mutt #tmux and a host of others. Many of them show up on the home screen, as contextual apps, just the same as apps show up in the home screens of the big boys. Keep the faith. Never give up people. -
Quelqu'un utilise l'extension #Kee avec #Keepass2 sous Debian ?
J'arrive pas a les connecter, j'ai pourtant bien copié "keepassRPC.plgx" dans le dossier "Plugins" mais il me dit que le plugin est incompatible.. c'est la dernière version pourtant.

Puh! Nur damit ich das verstehe:
Wenn ich mit meinen #KeePass2 Android-Apps (#KeePassDroid und #KeePassDX) versuche, meine 32kb große Wallet inklusive der enthaltenen SSH-Keys zu öffnen, scheitert das, weil angeblich mein Smartphone-Speicher zu klein dafür sei.
Wenn ich das Wallet dupliziere und einfach nur die SSH-Keys entferne, verringert sich die Größe der Datei um 0,1kb (!) auf 32kb und schon ist es kein Problem mehr?Ich finde, da besteht Optimierungsbedarf ...
