#Mozilla #Thunderbird me ha estado dando algunos problemas, ventana de emails que no se actualiza, y de vez en cuando, alto consumo de CPU.
Volviendo a las bases: claws-mail, un gestor de correo ligero que usé mucho tiempo hace años ya, y que siempre me dio bastante buenos resultados.
Ustedes: ¿qué cliente de email usan en GNU/Linux? 💬

I broke it and fix again. Turns out ~/Mail/ folder is a must. Somehow Sylpheed uses it for its needs 😅
I don’t like that it shows two mailboxes. Top one is empty, and I want to get rid of it. But I have no idea how.

@demoakracia Muy bueno #sylpheed, lo usé un par de años también, y funciona excelente. Lo cambié por claws-mail porque éste tiene un desarrollo más activo (sylpheed no se actualiza desde el 2018), y en claws pude configurar los plugins que necesitaba para poder usarlo con comodidad.

Finally found a GUI #mail client I'm happy with. Alongside my TUI mail client of choice #aerc (https://aerc-mail.org/), I will from now on use #Sylpheed (https://sylpheed.sraoss.jp/en/) 🎉
After being unhappy with bloated software like #Thunderbird, #Evolution,#Geary and #KMail I finally found something lightweight that let's me manage a couple #IMAP accounts on a modern #GTK interface without installing a bunch of #Gnome or #Plasma dependencies 🙌 -

I've been installing native Linux applications on my #pinephone, that's running #Manjaro and #kde by the way I just wish it was running #debian I have some screenshots to show. So far I've installed #mumble, #gajim, #psi #keepassxc, #keepass2 #lynx #sylpheed #mutt #tmux and a host of others. Many of them show up on the home screen, as contextual apps, just the same as apps show up in the home screens of the big boys. Keep the faith. Never give up people. -

@seguridad genial!! Yo lo usé un montón de años, luego pasé a thunderbird un tiempo, y ahora me entró la nostalgia y volví, y la verdad es que me resulta un poco lento al leer los inbox por #imap, pero el bajo consumo de recursos y la interfaz minimalista pueden más, y acá estoy usándolo!
En su momento también usaba #sylpheed, proyecto que forkeó y creó #clawsmail, el desarrollo es un poco más lento, pero muy buen cliente también.
