Today we made our annual visit to the local railway exhibition. The highlight this year was the Irn Bru train. Many delighted kids watching it go round and round.

Just got back from a doctor appointment, a follow-up from some blood tests. She told me "you're doing great!"
I translated that as "you may now consume your own weight in #chocolate and #cheese", so having a late lunch of #IrnBru, raspberry #JaffaCakes and #stilton.

We gave Ronnie, our neighbour in #Dundee, a bottle of Kaoliang sorghum liquor. He's going to mix it with Irn Bru & see how it goes. If it doesn't lead to a chemical chain reaction, taking out the whole tenement block, Ronnie may just have invented the ultimate Scottish/Taiwanese drink sensation.

So Freunde und Reisebegleiter unseres Urlaubs in UK 2025
Dir Reisegesellschaft ist in Harwich angekommen und chillt noch ein wenig in der Stadt.
Die Fahrt war so weit OK, wenn auch zum Teil viel Verkehr.
Das die hier keine Ahnung vom Verkehr haben, merkt man schon daran, das Höchstgeschwindigkeit auf 113 km/h beschränkt ist

Der Urlaub hat uns allen gefallen und ich weiß wieder, warum ich so gern hier bin. UK liegt mir einfach, auch wenn ich sprachlichen ein DAU bin, ich mag die Sprache.
Das Zelt haben wir heute Morgen im Regen abgebaut und auch die Vorhersage sagte, das es dort den ganze. Tag nass bleibt.
Eine halbe Autostunde entfernt, war nichts mehr mit regen, dafür Sonne satt und bis nach Harwich 25--28 Grad in England.
Jetzt in Harwich noch mal bei ASDA eingekehrt und Abendessen in Form von Sandwiches geholt.
Noch mal so typisch britisch muss sein.
Was cool ist, das man auch #IrnBru hier bekommt, da habe ich mir auch noch mal ne Flasche geholt 🥰

Hallo Freunde, Ankunft in UK ohne Probleme.
Erst mal gleich noch in Harwich bei ASDA eingekehrt und Sandwiches und Kleinigkeiten gekauft, die jeder UK FahrerIn sicher braucht.
Sehe cool, das ich auch #IrnBru und Loccozade bekommen habe ❤️
Zwischenstopp am Strand gemacht und dann ab die knapp 2 Stunden nach London.
Hier zwar Umleitung und trafic jam gehabt, aber es ist eben London.
Unsere Unterkunft gefunden und auch dann den Parkplatz zugewiwen bekommen. Hat alles super gepasst.
Wohnung ist eigentlich sehr gut, da sind wir zufrieden.
Nachher noch einen Rundgang durchs viertel machen und mal abchecken, was es heute zu Essen gibt 🥰
Auch das fahren war beinahe fast ohne Probleme und links fahren geht wie von allein. #UK2025 #London #Urlaub #England -

Knowing that #IrnBru advertising is often a bit risqué, I’m half wondering whether there is also a “Cream of Haggis” special edition, but if there is, I might just give that one a miss (you know what I mean)… 😳

Another day, another brunch, another #IrnBru “legend edition”. Today it’s the #unicorn, the national animal of #Scotland, and #UnicornTears flavour (some kind of berry flavour, possibly raspberry). Hopefully no unicorns were harmed or exploited in its production? #Slurm

At the risk of doing unpaid marketing for them, interesting to see that #IrnBru (a fizzy drink from #Scotland, one of very few countries in the world where a local drink outsells Big Cola) currently has a #NessieNectar flavour (vaguely fruity, less iron-y/ferric than normal). Hopefully no loch monsters were harmed or used in its production? #Slurm
