There's a bit more info in their May newsletter:

Edit: I'm not sure why the link preview says "we've run into an issue" - link seems to work

I've been reading about this device (an in the ear device that measures blood flow) for a while. The company has a new name, Lumia health.
I don't normally share product website links but this device (still in the early stages) has me intrigued:
Is anyone out there using this device? Or have other information about it? Thanks!

@matdesgro I mean we all agree that lactate guided resuscitation is a dumb strategy. In RCT comparing #lactate guided vs #CRT guided, no difference was found. Then, CRT guided resuscitation is a dumb strategy
Just as any strategy based on the correction of clinical signs of #shock (#tachycardia, #hypotension, encephalopathy, #oliguria, crt, #molting, cutaneous temperature or lactate). This are signs of a syndrome, none of them is nor sensitive nor specific alone.

CW: Thoughts on Long Covid study
Interesting, but beyond my ability to understand fully.
Still, I wonder why they did an active stand test vs a tilt table test. Wouldn't this miss lots of cases of neurally mediated hypotension/delayed drop in blood pressure?
Also, I hope I'm using the #MedMastodon tag correctly. I hope it's okay to use it to tag any medical info, not just posts for or about medical professionals.
