Love Lies Bleeding is a requiem for a body horror Lynchian blood dream simple nightmare.

It doesn't show "the" murder but does return to give a clear view of the damage it initially left to our imaginations.

I'm not sure which is worse.

Not what I was expecting, but watching it last night I knew from the first shot I was in for a wild ride.

I recommend it if you like the references.

So, Saturday night was horror night, and “Titane” was... well, not quite what I expected. By turns horrific, absurd, challenging, bewildering and ultimately rather sweet. I'm still thinking about its themes and about Agathe Rousselle's extraordinary performance.
