I understand temporaryconfusion at joining a new #instance learning new #hashtags being #patient while your #HomeFeed starts to fill.
Please don't assume #Mastodon is ever going to be just like twitter because it was created to be NOT like twitter, and #TheFederation isn't going to be ONE BIG INSTANCE so billions and can scream at each other and #influence each other and #sell each other and #SelfPromote until a billionaire buys it for his private plaything or a govt turns it into Ma Bell.
