  1. @alienmelon

    So true. Larger ARC (alien death robots) in #arcraiders drop metallic cores which you can whack with your raider tool (not a #euphanism) and play a pick up game of field hockey. Fun.

  2. @jalefkowit uh. not building shit is what we're doing.

    I kept putting off an upgrade due to money and everytime I scratched up enough, the prices went up, and every year I thought well maybe next year; nope got worse.

    My game rig is now a decade old (6700k+1080).
    Im forced to play #arcraiders on the #playstation .

    Send donations. Every bit helps. For just $4.00, that's the price of a cup of coffee, a day, you can help PC gamers who can't afford to upgrade not have to use a controller.

  3. Well.. *I never*.

    All I did was inquire via #CBC's media licensing email as to whether 126 episodes of the hit 1987-1994 #legal #TV #series #StreetLegal were available for licensing/redistribution and if so, in what form and quality (I'm thinking Kickstarter here people), and my ticket was closed without response.

    How very rude.

    Their loss. For all they know I have a few tens of million bucks lying around to sink into a vanity project of mine, but I guess we'll never know now.

    A #SQA person walks into a bar and orders:

    * a pint of beer
    * 2 pints of beer
    * 0 pints of beer
    * 999999999 pints of beer
    * a lizard
    * -1 pints of beer

  9. So why the debanking? When a Canadian #bank drops you they don't have to say why. What concerns me is that #RBC - until the 2nd payment - didn't seem to have any issue with Shakepay as a transfer destination.

    The only think I can think of - and this is reinforced by not elaborating on WHY the debank - is that the same pattern detections that caught #CanadianFreedomConvoy money from the states, also flagged this (and Chipiuks 1st order connection to persons of interest).

  10. #Canadian lawyer Eva Chipiuk, who represented Tamara Lich, one of the #CanadianFreedomConvoy organizers is #debanked by #RBC for transferring money to #Shakepay, a #Quebec based #cryptocurrency exchange.

    Banks are free to drop you as a customer for any reason, no issue there. My concern is it because its Shakepay specifically?

  16. Saw #GaryNuman last night at The #Concert Hall in #Toronto - excellent show, great venue; was one of those shows where the #music was #loud but not so loud you walked out with a headache or your ears ringing. Also #generaladmission but there are seats upstairs in the balcony, which as an old fart I appreciated.

    Really digging Numan's latest work (and all his classics of course), definitely would go see again. 10/10

  27. so they ask me, shit you not, to "break the PDFs up into chunks" below the max input size of the #ai #llm model they're using.

    "uh . no."

    _Well, you're not being a team player_

    "It's not that, it is an inefficient use of my time++. Give me a co-op or.. and this is much preferred.. I'll give the #dita source (or I can do #HTML or #Word or any other output that doesn't have an input limit) and the model can read that."

    ++unless your time is worth more than my time in which case: fuck you.

  28. @failedLyndonLaRouchite I use Beyond Compare for *source* comparison. As a #technicalwriter I author in #DITA which is an xml specialization; nice because I can use the same toolchains and repos as my dev teams.

    And BC *can* diff PDFs almost as well as Acrobat (in some cases better), so long as you're ok with it having scraped all the text out of it to do so. Which may or may not be what you want, but in that case, y not just diff the source.

  29. @ingalls heh, tracked by over 1000 ppl world wide, #7th worldwide.

    Those d00ds doing the good work. Not sure I'd want to do what they do.
