Je joue à un jeu de mots sur navigateur sur lequel j'ai passé des heures.
J'ai fait l'erreur d'activer la traduction de Firefox Mobile pour voir. Et maintenant je ne peux plus voir l'original. (J'peux re-traduire en anglais mais c'est pas mieux.)Est-ce que quelqu'un a une idée pour retrouver le texte original s'il vous plaît ?
Sachant que si je supprime les cookies, je perds ma sauvegarde. -
@mozilla why do tabs now use more screen space than before.
Before the last update it was nice, small rectangles, now it's big blobs with plenty unused space in between.
Is there any way to revert that in the Android App?
I want to use the space efficiently.
Ah, Enable secret menue via the about page and tapping the logo it is, then turn off that shit with some random toggles in nimbus experiments (why is control enabled the thing that turns the new stuff off?).
That didn't help with the tabs, but the rest of the UI is back to not driving me insane.

To switch off #AI bullshit on #Mozilla #FirefoxMobile, you'll need to go to advanced settings, too - only there's no about:config anymore. But if you open this URL
chrome://geckoview/content/config.xhtml
via the address bar, you'll still get there, just like in ordinary #Firefox.
There, search for
browser.ml.enable
extensions.ml.enabledand set both to false. That should be sufficient to have a little less #AI #enshittification in your digital life... at least for now.

In a world increasingly afflicted by #enshittification, #Mozilla #Firefox (thanks to #uBlock & #NoScript) remains one of the usable browsers, last real contender to #google chrome.
To switch of #AI bullshit, go to about:config and set these to false:
browser.ml.enable
browser.ml.chat.enabled
extensions.ml.enabled
browser.ml.chat.pageThe last one should also disable the shitty right-click "Ask an AI chatbot" menu item that has popped up recently.

Quelqu'un saurait comment faire en sorte que Firefox Mobile explique pourquoi une connexion n'est "pas sécurisée" ?
Là j'ai plein de sites qui s'affichent vides dedans, pour cette raison je pense, mais il n'en dit pas plus. Tous les autres navigateurs (y compris Firefox desktop) trouvent tout à fait acceptables les certificats en question. Et c'est pas la première fois.
Ça vous arrive aussi ?

Bon à savoir : quand on rate son copier/coller et qu'on met une URL invalide comme « API de suggestions de recherche » (ttp://…), #Fennec crash dès qu'on écrit dans la barre d'adresse. 😅

But seriously...does no one ever beta-test such things? Can I please get a menu to move/hide things in Firefox for Android so not everything is squeezed so tightly? 😭

opera gx added mods to mobile so i was like okay let's see what this is
turns out they disabled all the cool stuff on mobile, turning it into a glorified theme store
i thought this was lame, so against my better judgement, i've ported GX Mods to Android.
i wouldn't recommend using background music as it's extremely RAM hungry, but browser and keyboard sounds are kinda fun to have!! okay thats all thanks bye

It is in Insular (FOSS version of Island- isolated from all apps). So we make do with imperfect combinations. I also recommend Blokada from F-droid. @Sibilant That would presumably mean I could install the excellent Facebook Container extension, which would allow logging into Facebook on my phone when it occasionally felt necessary, without it coring out my privacy/data. Win!
