How have I never heard of Edgar Winter before?
Apparantly he had a real good time in the 70s.

I was not expecting an Edgar Winter walk-on for tonight’s Billy Strings show in Nashville. I wonder who else will be brought out over the next two nights.

Edgar Winter’s White Trash, Roadwork, 1972 on Epic
Double LP, recorded live at three venues: The Apollo Theater and the Academy of Music in NYC, and the Whiskey a Go Go in LA. The band here includes Edgar Winter, Johnny Winter (a “special appearance”), Rick Derringer, Jon Smith, Randy Hobbs, Jerry Lacroix, Bobby Ramirez, and Mike McClellan.
Great 17 minute version of “Tobacco Road” (side C itself) as well as “Rock-n-Roll Hoochie Koo” with Johnny Winter on guitar.
My copy via Vinyl Destination in Lowell MA (now closed).
