Meh. Seems our trusty old Synology NAS has developed a case of not booting up. Wasn't on my bingo card of things that had to go wrong now, but here we are.

And Synology has caught a severe case of late stage US capitalism it doesn't seem to be possible to just take the disks and put them in a newer unit as Synology now requires their own branded and expensive disks. Fucking fuck. We have backups, of course, but restoring somewhere is really annoying.

Is anyone here from #Iceland?

Since we are now having this far right government with they're extreme and absurd #austerity policies, #Finland will soon be a #dystopy.

So I'm thinking to emigrate.

Iceland doesn't have a #FarRight problem as we (and #Sweden) do, AND it doesn't get hot up there even when #ClimateCrisis continues. (We're having 27 °C in Porvoo today...)
