I have been a fan of "Quickstart" products for a long time. Such a good way to get into the hobby of TTRPG's, try out a new one, or just game on a budget since the vast majority of them are free.

I recently went down a rabbit hole on DTRPG (downloaded a couple dozen lol) and I'm now convinced that if you're ok with switching rulesets every few sessions, you could have some really fun gaming experiences for next to nothing, for a loooonnnggg time.

Shadowrun: Deus ex Arcana

The upheaval of the manasphere following the the Disian Shadow War has brought significant changes to magic, changes that aren’t quite yet understood but already being seen and felt. Magic is both familiar and different.

This has just dropped in my notifications. It just so happens I recently read some part of Astral Ways and while I haven’t followed Disian plot too closely, now I’m curious what they’ve cooked up. Their vision of metaplanes has some potential IMO

Is it me, or is the DTRPG login broken? I just can't get past this "unable to log in" pop-up. I'm not using "Malwarebytes," so I presume the error message is referring to something wrong on DTRPG's end, not mine. I tried to change my password, just in case, and that's not working either.

Nur das aktuelle FHTAGN Regelwerk + Spielwelt sind in US Letter Format und lassen sich hier nicht gut drucken. Unsere 2E ist in Arbeit und wird dann in A4 verfügbar sein und auch hierzulande gedruckt und angeboten.

For those of you #ttrpg folks who are also struggling with the opt-out-of-the-new-site button on DriveThruRPG: If it doesn't take on first try, deactivate it, sign off, go to another website, sign on, active the opt-out and go somewhere else again. After that it worked for me. And I was getting ready to edit non-existent cookies...

Buy on itch.io or right on the creator's website if you can, of course.

Lol, so I publish a few drawings over on Drive Thru RPG and I get maybe 1 or two reviews on each one a year. Just people giving it some stars, no actual comments. But, a few days ago, I suddenly got a bunch of reviews + comments that looked somewhat suspicious and I took at look at that reviewer and it looks like they went on a review spree on that day. FYI, Bundle of Holding has Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition (#A5E) for $25 bucks for the entire 3-book core set and a bunch of resources. Plus, it automatically adds to your #DTRPG account.

I’m super interested in the system, especially since it’s backward compatible with existing #5e stuff.

If nothing else, I’ll get some cool ideas and monster abilities out of it. But so far, it seems kinda great, and honestly…better than #OneDnD is looking.
