De Små Synger Necronomicon

Det store problem ved at basere hele sit brand som mystisk religion på en forbudt bog, er, at det giver simpelthen så lav en brand visibility. De Gamle Guder, Fjernvæsnerne, De Ældre, Azatoths Horder – ja, alle de børn i Cthulhuby har længe arbejdet på, hvordan de kunne komme ud over, at deres primære disseminationskanal er en hemmelig bog skrevet af en gal troldmand på et dødt sprog, og som oven i købet gør alle, der læser den vanvittige. Det er ikke meget word of mouth, man får ud af den strategi.

Men svaret på begrænset brand visibility er i vores moderne verden jo naturligvis brand synergy. Ud fra devisen, at man skal fange sit publikum tidligt, har Mørkets Magter allieret sig med børnebogsklassikeren De Små Synger og gendigtet en række af de sange, der bruges til at grundlægge børns forestillingsverden. Den kan lige så godt blive ubehagelig og sindsødelæggende først som sidst, må man forstå.
