I've watched Network Chuck's vids here and there over the years, he had interesting stuff.
Lately he's been really into AI, but then in the latest video he installs Omarchy with DHH as a guest and I also realize he's one of those jesus crazed americans and is maybe into "indoctrinate and overpopulate" life all those antiabortionists love.I knew him constantly unnaturally smiling with his cringe coffee schtick is not a good sign.

Someone I once listened to, said he doesn't go on the same podcast twice. Everything (or most) of the most interesting things you have to say is already touched on during your first (six-hour-long, in this case) appearance. Your second appearance would then likely focus on what happened, or what you have been up to, in the time since.
What is there left to discuss about Ruby on Rails or Ruby as a programming language, that they didn't already discuss during the first appearance? However, what DHH has been up to since his last appearance is writing a bunch more white supremacist Nazi blog posts.
Folks, stop listening to the Lex Fridman podcast if you do. Stop listening to Andrew Huberman too, he's no better and speaks at Balaji Srinivasan's fascist Network State conference. Stop admiring Rick Rubin, he made a commercial for Polymarket. Stop watching Ali Abdaal and similar "hustle porn" YouTubers caring only about how to become a millionaire. Stop watching Kurzgesagt, they're paid by the "AI" industry for AI doomerism which is just the other side of the same medal: marketing for tech billionaires.
These types of podcasters and "creators"/"influencers" have chosen their side, and it's not ours. It's the one of the billionaires with the big money.
Stop giving these people your attention.

Worth remembering in the wake of the #mullvad donation, #mozilla #firefox moving back to #x and just #dhh and #rubyonrails - people and companies are actively funding these people and their hateful rhetoric.
This is happening very directly.
If they didn't have the gobs of money, they would be like you and me - posting on social media, volunteering, maybe a small donation here and there.
WITH the gobs of money, you can change society to hate the people you hate.
