Netzwerk kommt von einer #UDMPro.#Nextcloud: 1x Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny m920q (Core i5, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD). Darauf läuft #Proxmox, Nextcloud ist eine VM. Als Storage ist eine ältere Synology via NFS angebunden. Dort liegt auch die virt. HDD, auf der die Daten liegen.

Die erste Anprobe ist ganz ok. Ich würde gern jeden HP Mini in einen separaten #DeskPi Rackmount montieren, bin aber wahrscheinlich zu geizig. Auch bei der Stromversorgung bin ich mir noch nicht sicher. Es gibt eine 4-fach 10 Zoll Leiste von Digitus, aber ich fürchte, dass sie zu tief ist. #homelab #minilab

Assembled a 12U DeskPi RackMate T2 for a client yesterday.
Nice bit of kit, the value is there. Recommended.
Now to populate. This unit will be a small business services, firewall, and DMZ host configuration with three Intel based systems and a whack of storage.
3D printer will be working for a few days to flesh it out.

Small warning about the #DeskPi DC PDU. While this is a useful device, read the manual carefully. It can handle up to 8 Amp total, but only 3A per Output and has a significant voltage drop above that (fuse reacts at 5A).
I just accidentally ran my NAS with 10,3V on the 12V line because of that (PicoPSU) and it had interesting effects. #homelab #minirack -

@geeekpi #DeskPi #Rackmates 10" Rack and Audio/Video Racks are great because you can stack them.
