Basically, they adapted a dev board to a KVM, and it's cheaper to keep the board intact than make a custom one, so hence the microphone comes along. In their PCIe KVM, which is a custom design, there is no microphoneHe also mentioned custom #opensource firmware might be available, something to look into..... also put these things on a VLAN!

It all works—a bit better than he expected. But RISC-V isn't ready for prime-time yet

MXLinux 23 Raspberry Pi Respin running on my Raspberry Pi 5 with the PineberryPi HatDrive SSD HAT!Say “hello” to Commander Fox, likely destined for Nextcloud duty.
Booting and app launching are FAST. The only thing that holds it back is the lack of a GPU, but it’s perfectly useable for light desktop work.
