The critical importance of good policy on police body cameras is made extremely clear following recent events in #CambridgeMA. On August 21, the Cambridge Police Department, who already have body cameras, fatally shot 64-year-old William Woodworth near Central Square.

Woodworth's family are fighting hard to get access to the body camera footage, but the District Attorney is insisting that the footage not be released yet.

You don’t usually spot a LOTUS around Central Sq #CambridgeMA often.

We also ran into a ton of neighbors last night who were also celebrating #AllstonChristmas. One was wearing a very nice Cotopaxi backpack that had been an Allston Christmas gift in a previous year, and she said she always wore it to celebrate and take home her presents. As is traditional, we wished everyone good hunting.

One of the nice things about #CambridgeMA is the #CurbShopping opportunity.

Especially from mid-May through September 1st, as students and visiting academics move away.

I no longer shop from the curb, but sometimes post to the #MIT #Reuse list things I stumble across, on errand and exercise walks.

This morning's best was an Onkyo 6-CD changer, in box.

(Actually, possibly better was a large TCL flatscreen TV, a few blocks down Oxford, if it worked.)
