Liebes Gnome-Team, was mich betrifft, habt Ihr Euren langen Kampf, Gnome unbenutzbar zu machen, endlich gewonnen. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!

… sudo apt install cinnamon …

  5. Working on a little something. Wanted to do this for 2 years now. Using #bricscad coz nothing else felt right or worked (I'm on #linux). Last time I made something in 3D was over 24 years ago and we used #maya, #3dstudio and SolidWorks. Also had to use #autocad, so BricsCAD feels most familiar.

  10. also, #bricscad is way underrated

    it's natively supported on linux
it's cheaper than autocad and has perpetual licenses (2.5k eur for a forever license of the ultimate steal feels pretty good considering autodesk)
it provides free licenses of the ultimate plan (aka all features it offers) for students as long as you're a student

tho one thing i would love for it to have is FEM for those sweet sweet simulations

  17. I can say that #BricsCAD works very well as #2D #CAD, in #Linux.
I think it's a valid alternative, I absolutely recommend it.

  18. #BricsCAD this can be a solutions I will retest if it handle big file and complex 2D drawing, if its suitable for any serious work. #linux

  20. How cool is this ZW3D, I saw it years ago, but I didn't noticed that there is also a version for #Ubuntu for amd64 or amr64 That is an other professional #CAD for #Linux after #Varicad, #BricsCAD and #Plasticity now #zw3d
