Автоматизация расстановки стеллажей: с 2–3 дней ручного расчета до 15 минут

Дано: компания (наш клиент) продает стеллажные системы. Менеджер по продажам получает от клиента план склада в DXF или DWG. На выходе нужны варианты расстановки стеллажей, спецификация и чертёж — эти материалы сразу уходят в коммерческое предложение. До автоматизации этот путь занимал 2–3 дня инженерной работы на типовом объекте, и любая правка клиента запускала пересчёт почти с нуля. Колонна, ширина проезда и тип балки на конкретном ярусе зависят друг от друга. Сдвинул ряд из-за колонны — изменилось число секций, поменялись балки, пересчиталась нагрузка на раму, смету нужно пересчитывать. “Нарисовать прямоугольники на плане и посчитать рамы” — это сильное упрощение реальной задачи, в которой каждая цифра тянет за собой остальные. В продажах стеллажных систем клиент выбирает того подрядчика, кто быстро считает. Того, кто сделает расчет, за 2–3 дня заказчик. Скорость составления КП и пресейла прямо влияет на возможность продать или принять участие в тендере, а так же на загрузку инженерной команды, которую на этапе продажи приходится дёргать на каждый входящий план.

Spent way too much time trying to figure out why Inkscape cannot export DXF, the reason is that DXF is under “save-as”.

I think the reasoning is that no rasterising is involved, but given how lossy DXF export is, this feels very contrived…

Something broke (changed) in Inkscape where I can no longer export a DXF file at the correct size for our laser cutter software. The DXF Export also seems to mangle the file a bit.

Time to try the "export every combo of options until I find what works" thing again. (Which I last did maybe 8 years ago, so I had a good run.)

LibreCAD, being a fork of QCAD 2.0.5 Community Edition, for a long time had only a Points-based Grid.

Now there are settings to fully customize the Grid look:
1) with Points type its possible to set Metagrid to Continious line type (or other).
2) with Lines type its possible to fully customize both, main Grid and Metagrid line types.

Also, its possible to customize the look of Axis Lines and extend them infinitely.

#Inkscape doesn't seem to understand how to properly display #DXF from #Solidworks, and I have manually adjusted the stroke width. It was super big for unknown reasons.

Today for those who need to create 2D #CAD #drawings from #3D models the fastest and most economical method is to use #Blender LineArt, in a few seconds to generated views and then save as #DXF, the only flaw is the circumferences, for the rest it is fine, eg. with #Plasticity3D
