I received a “fun” #botany lesson today. A bit of background first. When I bought my house, there were three #BradfordPear trees in the backyard. Now my relationship with the trees can best be described as abject hatred. They’re invasive; they stink, and I’m quite allergic to them, so I’ve been waging war on the fuckers ever since.

I have the trees down, but now their roots keep throwing up new trees, leaving me in the maintenance phase of hell tree remediation. [1/?]
