Gibt es hier Leute, die AzireVPN nutzen und mit Linux (nicht Ubuntu) arbeiten?
Ich hätte da ein paar Fragen zur Konfiguration, da meine bisherige Methode (Wireguard installieren und dann einloggen via Terminal) nicht mehr funktioniert.
Supportanfrage an Azire ist auch raus.
Bevor ich mich an den Azire-VPN-Support wende:
Hat eins von euch eine Idee, warum ich mit der neuen Router-SIM keine funktionierende VPN-Verbindung mehr herstellen kann? Weder wenn die SIM im Handy, noch wenn sie im Router liegt.
Bisher loggte ich mich jeweiles (nach1maliger Installation/Anmeldung via Wireguard) über das Terminal ein und aus.
Jetzt bekomme ich keine Verbindung ins Netz, obwohl im Terminal eine Verbindung zustande gekommen ist. De facto bin ich offline.
Wenn ihr ein #VPN nutzen wollt, dann verwendet #MullvadVPN von @mullvadnet; verwendet eher nicht #AzireVPN von @azirevpn
Die schaffen es noch nicht einmal **manuell** eine SEPA-Überweisung korrekt durchzuführen, geschweige denn, eine #Sofortüberweisung innerhalb von 24 Stunden zu verbuchen.

Außerdem geht ihr bei AzireVPN ein automatisches #Abo ein, während bei MullvadVPN das VPN solange funktioniert wie euer Guthaben dort "reicht".

Gestern habe ich #Manjaro KDE installiert. Als #AzireVPN-Userin wollte ich mein Wireguard, das bei Ubuntu als Kommandozeile lief, zurück. Dazu habe ich „wireguard-tools“ installiert.
Doch das passiert leider nicht. Die bisherigen Befehle „sudo wg-quick up azirevpn-de-ber“ oder „sudo wg-quick down azirevpn-de-ber“ funktionieren nicht.
Statt, dass sich nach dem Befehl alles schön verbindet, bekomme ich "wg-quick: `/etc/wireguard/azirevpn-de-ber.conf' does not exist" angezeigt.
Was fehlt?

The recent Azire acquisition is making me a bit worried.
First OVPN, now Azire.
I'm not that surprised, since Netbouncer, the company behind Azire, always had a hard time keeping money, but it's worrying to see that they gave up their independence, for just some cash. But money talks, eh? And when it's in large sums, nobody's going to check the grammar.
Being owned by an American company is a problem though, and I wonder how much their reputation will decline.

Finding myself on public WiFi for the first time since the start of the pandemic makes me remember how much I love Wireguard (https://www.wireguard.com/) and AzireVPN (https://azirevpn.com).
A breeze to set up on elementary OS (or any other Linux + they have apps for all the major platforms):
sudo apt install wireguard jq resolvconf
