That topic was brought many times, but times change, interfaces also, and new devices appear.
I would like to ask you which audio interface is currently worth buying. Requirements:
list of 7 items
1. Accessibility is a must. I’m totally blind and need to be in control.
2. XLR input of course is also a must, one or two is enough.
3. I’d like to connect hardware to it to do demos, so something like a stereo input that would accept that famous cable with 3.5 mm jack going into the
hardware and a pair of mono jacks going to the audio interface.
4. Loopback would also be needed, as far as I understand, for software demos with screen reader.
5. Ideally it would also accept an iPhone, so I could take the call, talk into my Samson Q2U, hear my interlocutor through the same headphones connected
to that interface. Is that possible?
6. If there is something like a built-in compressor, would be nice but not a must.
7. Ideally with ability to connect a midi keyboard (actually, I have a Yamaha keyboard that, I assume, can be connected as such).

I heard Motu’s accessibility deteriorated with time. So what do we have, Vocaster II, Evo Audient (I saw mixed reviews, some reviewers reported very high
irritating noise on the Audient ones), something else?

Oh and he also played one from my last EP, thanks!
Well worth the eartime if you like darker ambient moods and noises.
