Made my real-time #MIDI #Perl drum machine module (https://metacpan.org/dist/Music-SimpleDrumMachine) accept a hashref of part name keys and weighted probability values, instead of a single part name, for changing drum parts. Woo! :D

Is there a 'good' piano synth that accepts midi boards as input, specifically I want the piano sounds that is on a standard yamaha epiano or very close!

TIL that vst3 plugins do not respond to midi program change messages.

I'm not sure how I escaped knowing that for so long, but also WTF?

Is this truly a universal issue with vst3?
