Soliciting recommendations:
I would like a portable recording device with very long battery life (4+ hours of recording, ideally 8+). I don't mind if I have to put a very large battery (or a large number of small batteries) into it. My current Zoom H1 is a fine device in most respects but has inferior battery life [1] and I constantly find it running out of juice when I got to make voice memos or make extended field recordings. Certainly I wouldn't trust it to record entire shows straight through, which I'd also like to do. Do you have a portable recording device with superior battery life? About the time this song was released, I saw Johnny Lee performing at a local bar here in Anchorage. It was a great show, and I especially liked hearing him sing this song.

Having a blast working on the drum part for my re-recording of Tell Me What She Said. The original hi-hat part was too intense to do with one shots (very similar to Hearts Barracuda), so spent a couple days searching through the grooves in Slate Drums. Know what's really good with #Ardour and #Mixbus? They still find my Windows #VST plugins even after the switch. I rescan my plugins, and all my projects still work, because these DAWs somehow reference the plugins in a clever way. I have observed this earlier, even when copying projects between operating systems, the plugins still are correctly there in my projects in Ardour. (Of course, one must have the plugins installed on each computer/OS.)
Most Windows plugins I run are 32bit still. Old and good stuff. Not a problem with Yabridge / #Wine on Linux.
So, this took me about an hour to fix, but now things should be settled again for a while and for more #LinuxProAudio #Recording.

It just doesn't work no more. I mean, the VSTs do run, but the GUIs are all not useable.

I have been using it in productions already. It was good, but very hungry on the CPU. #Korneff state that with this update, they made it more efficient regarding CPU usage.

You know the kind of thing I mean - it's a recording, or rather a bunch of recorded clips it tries to play in response to what you say. And it says things that imply very strongly that it is *not* a recording.
An outright lie. Zero respect for the recipient, their time, and their intelligence.

The earpad covers left us long ago, and now my trusty Logitech G-Pro headphones have finally died (actually the sound is still fine, the headband part snapped so I can't wear them which is kind of problematic).
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good replacement please? I need a set with a good quality microphone. I've been happy with these. Are the newer models still good or is there another brand / model I should consider please?
