But apparently the codec DV/DVCPRO is unsupported by both QuickTime and #FinalCutPro. #Compressor can't handle it either.
The raw format is being handled just fine.
This is not the first time I find Apple stuff to have zero support for some codecs. Yet #HandBrake and #ShutterEncoder do.

I love their craftmanship and dedication towards the work, from the simple recorder which is designed and produced with the same care as their hand crafted brass string and other acoustical instruments, to their robotically produced electrical instruments
Same is my experience with Yamaha PA and studio audio equipment. Regardless of the age of the design, the equipment is sturdy, can withstand electrical fluctuations, works proper for years, and is maintainable, provided you follow the service manuals to the letter
