So good to be back an re-live all this #Fallout2 pure awesomeness again after so many years.
Even more so thanks to the amazing Fallout2 Restoration Project (https://github.com/BGforgeNet/Fallout2_Restoration_Project) - so many fixes and cool new things! Just wow.
They simply don't make games like #Fallout and #Arcanum anymore. Never will probably.

(I say that because maybe you've seen me say it here and I don't wanna be *that guy*)
So there's the #Arcanum rules for #Ironsworn, but I wanted to also pull in some of the lore, just maybe at a more dialed-back state. And man, does this hold promise.
So now this might become my "kinda-a-Witcher becomes a weird gopher for a covenant of weird wizards" game. And then I can hop from character to character, which is how an Ars Magica game is supposed to go.

@AndreasDavour That's literally the cool thing about Ars Magica. The thing that's not so cool about it is the fact that it went from a relatively slim tome that allowed you to elaborate on things pretty effectively with second edition to the bloated wallowing creature of perhaps a thousand too many pages of fifth.
But that's okay because there's a really nice add-on for #Ironsworn that effectively gives you Ars Magica magic: #Arcanum . And it's much more narratively focused, structured rules. At this point, I wouldn't play AM any other way.

Что ж, сегодня хочу продолжить данную рубрику и поделиться историями из жизни Тима Кейна – важного для индустрии геймдизайнера, одного из идеологов и создателей Fallout 1 и 2, а также многих других отличных игр. В ролике на своём YouTube канале он вспоминает о том, как создавалась и какой могла бы стать так и не вышедшая Arcanum 2: Journey to the Center of Arcanum. J'ai tout de suite adoré #Arcanum, dès sa preview dans #Joystick (lue et relue pendant, ça m'a marqué, des vacances de Noël 2000 curieusement passées à Nouakchott), puis en découvrant sa superbe boîte (embarquant l'#ost) et plus encore, évidemment, après y avoir joué ! Pour moi un classique à la hauteur des premiers #Fallout, visiblement pas si bon que ça quand je vois qu'il est beaucoup moins passé à la postérité. Sans doute à cause de ses bugs et de son équilibrage ? #retrogaming #jeuxvideo
