That's why I love this game so much:

First - a broken hologram speaks to you in binary (and I didn't know it'll show decoded message so asked #ChatGPT to decode - too lazy to do it manually 😄).

Second - that very same hologram gives you a passkey - being pretty well tuned for the #Fallout2 vibe I asked ChatGPT again if this number means something - voila - Einstein's birthday.

Wow.

Just wow.

Seconda stagione abbastanza deludente.
Avevo trovato la prima stagione divertente ed interessante da seguire, mentre questa, pur rimanendo tecnicamente di ottima fattura, a tratti mi ha annoiato.

@rajmund - jedynka moim zdaniem wygrywa zdecydowanie jeśli mówimy o fabule i wizji świata. Tam prawie wszystko jest spójne, nie wytrąca z opowieści.

Jeśli miałbym wskazać to, czego w F2 nie lubiłem i nie lubię do dziś, to Wanamingi. Nie przez trudność walk, a przez to, że są za bardzo jak kosmici, że są takimi niby-mutantami.

Podobnie nie lubię siedziby Enklawy. Jak dla mnie platforma wiertnicza i wszystko co było na niej, mogłoby nie istnieć i gra nic by na tym nie straciła.

Co do San Francisco - tu już nie jestem tak pewien, jednak też wydaje mi się, że gra by bez tej lokacji niewiele straciła, a przyszyta ona jest zbyt grubymi nićmi.

Zresztą samo Arroyo i wizja wybrańca jako "tubylca" też jest zbyt mocno "od czapy". Po wyjściu z wioski bardzo szybko ginie to nasze wieśniactwo i tak naprawdę (słabo) przypominamy sobie o nim dopiero na sam koniec gry. Bardziej spójne i wiarygodne byłoby, gdyby wszystko zaczynało się w wiosce w podobnej do Shady Sands, może Klamath.

A pesar de lo desapercibida que ha pasado en La Conversación, me ha gustado mucho esta segunda temporada de #Fallout, con todas sus referencias a #FalloutNewVegas y a #Fallout2. Me encanta cómo se siente como una partida, cómo se nota el cariño por dar una historia con el espíritu de la saga.

Y, por supuesto, me encantan:

Myślisz, że Chosen One/Dziecko Przeznaczenia obchodziła? Nie - szukał(a) GECK-a dla swojej wioski. Ale gdy bandziory Enklawy zjawili się, wymordowali wojowników plemiennych, a resztę uprowadzili - wiadomo było, co trzeba zrobić. Zakończyć rządy terroru, a ich bazę wysadzić w drobny mak. (A właściwie to nawet nie mak, bo nic z niej nie zostało po eksplozji jądrowej.)

C’est donc une sorte de chaînon manquant entre #Fallout2 et #FalloutNewVegas. Juste à temps pour la saison 2 de la série télé…

Dommage que l’ouvrage ne contienne pas de carte de la région, pour celles et ceux qui ne connaissent pas la géographie des États-Unis par cœur.

Something I really appreciate about Interplay's Fallout games is that they're classless RPGs, yet they strike the right balance in the replayability department.

You're not held back by early-game choices so long as you exercise some thought when building your character's skills. At the same time, each play of Fallout and Fallout 2 feels a bit different, as you make different decisions or pump your stats in a different way.
