Now when I think about this... I kind of get to like #Sims4 being so full of painfully American stereotypes I know from reading a lot of novels. Hippies living in campers? Conspiracy theory freaks with weird machines on yards? Teenage werewolves occupying squats in abandoned factories? Cowboys and ranchers?
Several years ago I was very active in #writting communities in Polish group blogs. Mainly in fantasy settings, but there were many different genres. It had specific thrill - creating stories, not intended to have an end like novel, embedded with universe shared with other authors and their stories. Authors influences stories of others in subtle ways. Interactive living world shaping stories and being shaped by them.
Currently, after death of group blogging spheres, I couldn't find anything scratching that particular #storytelling itch. Writing short stories for competions - or even for myself - is not exactly the same.And I feel #TheSims4 with current features is another partial substitute for me. I love taking some of existing things, shaping them slightly more to my tastes and mixing it with my own original visions. Using existing aesthetics and atmosphere and expanding it. Creating many parallel stories in shared universe.
I have a lot of official DLCs and even more weird mods. I play with aging disabled globally to have full control on continuous story I want to create here. I try to catch some "vibe" and follow it. -

The Sims 4 z nowym dodatkiem. „Przygoda wzywa” zabierze Simów na łono natury już w październiku
Electronic Arts zaprezentowało kolejny dodatek do popularnego symulatora życia The Sims 4. Rozszerzenie, zatytułowane „Przygoda wzywa”, zadebiutuje już 2 października i pozwoli graczom wysłać swoich Simów na zasłużony odpoczynek w nowej, pełnej atrakcji lokalizacji.
Nowy pakiet wprowadzi do gry świat o nazwie Punkt Gibbi, który zaoferuje trzy unikalne lokacje do wypoczynku i eksploracji. Gracze będą mogli odwiedzić obóz Gibbi Gibbi, zrelaksować się w ośrodku „Zacznij żyć” lub spędzić romantyczne chwile w kurorcie Wyżyna Miłości. Dodatek umożliwi również tworzenie własnych, spersonalizowanych parcel, które będzie można dostosować do indywidualnych potrzeb Simów.
Parallels Desktop w Mac mini z dyskiem zewnętrznym – czy to działa?
Wraz z nowym światem pojawią się także niedostępne wcześniej umiejętności, które urozmaicą rozgrywkę. Simowie będą mogli nauczyć się tworzenia papierowych dekoracji, strzelania z łuku, nurkowania, a nawet entomologii, czyli nauki o owadach. Dla miłośników kariery na świeżym powietrzu przygotowano nową ścieżkę zawodową – pracownika parku.
„Przygoda wzywa” to propozycja dla graczy, którzy chcą wzbogacić życie swoich Simów o nowe formy rekreacji i aktywności na łonie natury. Dodatek wpisuje się w strategię ciągłego rozwoju gry, która od momentu przejścia na model free-to-play w 2022 roku, regularnie otrzymuje nową zawartość, utrzymując zaangażowanie milionów fanów na całym świecie.
Rozszerzenie The Sims 4: Przygoda wzywa będzie dostępne na komputerach PC (EA app, Steam, Epic Games Store) oraz konsolach PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S i Xbox One.
