Nobody need to upgrade their #smartwatch year-over-year when the next version is almost the same, and the battery life hasn't improved at all. Worse, competitors are step ahead on the latter.

Tutaj czeka na prawdopodobnie najwięcej zmian, ponieważ nowy model SE ma otrzymać „nowy wygląd”. Możliwe, że będzie bazował na designie Apple Watch Series 7 z 2021 roku lub wprowadzi całkowicie nowy projekt. Gurman wspomina również o potencjalnej plastikowej obudowie oraz żywych kolorach.

Apple Watch Series 11 i Ultra 3

Apple testuje nową „sztywną plastikową” obudowę dla Apple Watch SE, co może obniżyć koszty produkcji.

Apple Watch SE, wprowadzony w 2020 roku, był tańszą alternatywą dla Series 6. W 2022 roku cena SE spadła do $249 (od 1299 zł w Polsce), a tył zegarka wykonano z plastiku zamiast ceramiki.

Mark Gurman przewiduje, że trzecią generację SE zobaczymy w przyszłym miesiącu, z nowym procesorem Apple S9 (lub S10) i możliwością większego wyboru kolorów. Przejście na plastik może pozwolić na obniżenie ceny lub dodanie nowych funkcji, takich jak EKG czy Always-On Display. Plotki na ten temat pojawiają się zresztą od dawna.

Nowy SE może kosztować od $199 do $249. W Polsce ta cena mogłaby zatem startować od 1049 zł lub zejść do psychologicznej bariery 999 zł.
