  1. "…the bulk of the functioning US government is the #adminLaw—think the acronym soup of agencies like the EPA, FCC, FTC, FDA…

Over the years, #Chevron deference has enabled federal agencies to tackle all sorts of issues that legislators have yet to cover.

Overruling Chevron has the potential to change the tenor of the impending judicial challenge to the new #netneutrality rules dramatically."

  2. Does anyone know: Is there any easy way to download all of the comments that have been publicly filed for a particular notice, e.g., regulations.gov/document/PTO-C

Or do I really have to do this one-by-one?

  3. #Hello, new platform. I'm doing up a proper #intro / #introduction / #introductions with my tags so I can get amongst it properly. I've come from Twitter, where I did some fun work swearing at #Centrelink and getting hassled by LNP senators after giving evidence at the robodebt inquiry. I'm an unashamed #armchairactivism participant, giving media interviews from the comfort of my couch.

So! I am here for #auspol especially things like #robodebt and other #socialwelfare issues, #auslaw especially #adminlaw etc, #socialhousing #communityhousing #publichousing activism because I'm stuck in a decrepit shithole making my health worse, #publichealth #aushealthcare #Medicare to rant about crippled universal healthcare, #WApolitics because #WALabor is a conservative shitshow atm, #mentalhealth #disability #chronicillness rights and not just for #COVID19 #COVID #longCOVID, #LGBT #queer #gender #trans equity, strictly #intersectional #feminism (I will mercilessly ridicule TERFs and SWERFs), #climatecrisis #climatechange as it disproportionately affects already disadvantaged people, and I will need #cats as a palate cleanser between whingetoots. I'm a staunch #Greens supporter and consider state & federal #Labor to have become class traitors in the global push towards a capitalist dystopia that leaves vulnerable people behind.

Obviously I'm a raging progressive, and I look forward to getting to know more of the same because I like my echo chamber loud xox :blobcatboop:

  4. Finishing up Paul Daly's, "Understanding Administrative Law in the Common Law World." Thesis: doctrines of admin law can and should be explained through the values of individual self-realisation, good administration, electoral legitimacy, and decisional autonomy. Especially liked the application of the theory to the jurisprudence on remedies and the scope of judicial review. This book also provides a nice survey of admin law from around the commonwealth. #law #AdminLaw #BookReview
