Save this before you send your app to a friend, a client, or a launch list. The app worked for you because you know how to use it. Everyone else will not.
- [ ] Open it in a private window. Logged-out behaviour is what new visitors see.
- [ ] Try it on your phone. Layouts that look fine on a laptop often break on a small screen.
- [ ] Try three inputs you did not plan. An empty form, a very long name, and a number where text belongs.
- [ ] Find the first error message a stranger would see. It should say what went wrong.
- [ ] Check the page title and link preview. This is what people see before they click.
- [ ] Remove test data and fake accounts. Your demo users should not appear in the live version.
- [ ] Confirm that a refresh keeps the state you expect. Losing work on refresh is a common surprise.
- [ ] Check that no secret is visible in the page source. Keys in the browser are public.
- [ ] Write one sentence about what the app does. If you cannot, the person you send it to cannot either.
- [ ] Ask one person to use it without help. Watch where they stop. That is the bug to fix first.
