A lot of this week's #pyrography has been on coasters and phone stands. Two "blank" ones at the back have a celtic design and our village name on them.
The #SWTOR Twi'lek is my own phone stand. I just re-burned the picture, so it's not as good as if I'd started again, but I'm the only one that sees it. My camera also made it look rougher than it appears in my hand.
The coaster is also one of mine re-burned, and re-coated.

J'ai filmé la pyrogravure d'un mini mimi renard.Avec la caméra entre mes yeux et mes mains c'est pas facile de bien viser. Pour le premier que j'ai gravé, j'ai amoché le museau en essayant de "gommer"

I learned something new today. This plant is what my husband’s family’s name is derived from. It is now Borrazás, but in Catalán it is Borratja. In English it is the plant “Borage” and my mother planted it all over in the back garden in Bolinas at the farm where I grew up. Another #pyrography toot:
This is the tip of a wand I recently finished. The runes are a transliteration of the words "May hope fly," one half of the call-and-response farewell of my Grove.
This particular wand is one of three I made from a fallen branch, one of many gifted to me by the twin black walnuts that grow behind my house and serve as my steadfast companions on my Druidic journey. My dear friends Rowan and Audrey wield the other two, and it's around the three of us that the nascent Grove first took shape.

Mixed my #pyrography up with my #tarot cards today. Making some card holders covered in this freehand, intricate pattern work I enjoy doing so much. They take around 4 hours to make. I’ll put them in my shop once I finish a few more & rest my thumb a bit.

Some #pyrography this morning. In the #closeup you can see a natural crack in the #wood. I base the #artwork around these natural features, and go where the #wood wants me to go. Burning #oak smells so good. Campfire, I suppose.
