The brand new Sea to Summit 50L Big River Dry Backpack just arrived as a review sample.
I promptly loaded all my camping gear including a BearVault BV500 Journey Bear Canister, which easily fits 10 days of food for a solo paddler with the right packing. It all fits fine with a terrible packing job.
The pack weighs just 1lb 10oz. I'll need a water bottle pocket for the outside.
I suspect this will be my portage pack for the next couple of years.

Winterwochenende: Andrang an Schwarzwaldhochstraße erwartet
Eine Sprecherin des Polizeipräsidiums Offenburg bestätigte, dass man die Verkehrssituation entlang der B500 auch an diesem Wochenende beobachte und im Rahmen der Streifendienste kontrollieren werde. Es werde aber niemand extra dafür abgestellt, den Verkehr zu kontrollieren. Außerdem seien die Gemeinden in der Pflicht dafür Sorge zu tragen, dass die #Rettungswege nicht durch #Falschparker versperrt werden.

I can't find any information about the LCD (which is actually 6"!), however. It has a few identifiers printed on it (below). I know it's IPS and (purportedly) 1920x1080. It uses a 24-pin ribbon tape connector.
Anyone have ideas on what sort of controller board would be needed to drive this with (say) a Raspberry PI?
