1yo #KohenKartierWiley was shot by cops on 14 June in #Senatobia, #Mississipi. https://www.mississippifreepress.org/mississippi-police-officer-shoots-and-kills-1-year-old-child-in-response-to-senatobia-shoplifting-call/
Was he murdered? Dunno.
But the allegation is that his family stole a box of nappies (diapers). Shots were fired when armed police engaged his family. Over nappies.
A child's life worth less than his nappies.
In Walmart a box of mid-range nappies costs $20–30.
Would a court convict the cop? In Mississipi? 😅🤣

"xAI has added 19 natural gas turbines to its second data center campus in Southhaven, Mississippi, over the past two months, according to internal emails seen by WIRED.
The additions come as xAI is fighting a lawsuit from the NAACP and several environmental groups, alleging that the company is violating the Clean Air Act by operating more than two dozen natural gas turbines at the site without appropriate air permits.
Emails between an official in the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality and a representative from Trinity Consultants, obtained via a public records request by the Southern Environmental Law Center and shared with WIRED, show that xAI installed 19 portable gas turbines on its site in Southaven between late March and early May. That brings the total to 46 turbines operating at the site.
Featured Video
A spreadsheet included in the email to MDEQ, has a column labeled “Total Power Output” that appears to list the megawatt capacity of each turbine on the site. xAI appears to have added more than 500 megawatts of natural gas turbines since mid-March."https://www.wired.com/story/xai-adds-19-new-gas-turbines-despite-ongoing-lawsuit/

Thanks to Trump & so-called Republicans who fight against Republic, KKK is back and strong.
French translation, for intl share:
-----
Merci Colin Kaepernick.
Justice pour Trey.

"The imagery tied directly into the history of the modern-day Republican Party, which rose on the image of the cowboy who would cut through the “socialism' of a government that used tax money to keep the playing field level and restore individual men to power.
But that was always just an image, and now, shown up against the reality of the complicated and hard work of governance, it has become cartoonish."

Governor #TateReeves of #Mississipi signed a bill that, in his words, "bans experimental gender reassignment procedures for children in Mississippi"
That's not even a thing. No doctor in the #UnitedStates performs gender confirmation surgery on minors.
He finished by saying "We will always protect the kids of our state."
This isn't about protecting kids. It's about spreading #disinformation based on #conspiracytheories to restrict rights of a vulnerable minority through fear and intimidation.
