(It's easy to make fun, but that's not really what I'm doing here: honestly I don't see how it's any sillier to apply reverence to Tolkien's work than to Shakespeare's. I suspect both authors would be rather shocked at how their works are related to many generations after their passing.)

I often use the invidious instance of nerdvpn.de and they have a bot protection called Gandalf. I wrote a little script that automatically replaces its background with the gandalf nod gif using a data url...that was totally worth the time!
