A las abejas les encantan las flores de Lavanda, no tengo muchas visitas, así que estas me resultan especialmente gratificantes, llegan y se ponen las botas comiendo y bebiendo sin preguntar. Me dijeron en plan cotilleo que son avispas que se volvieron veganas, por mi parte no llego a tanto, me limito a coger un ramito de flores y olerlo de camino mientras voy a comer, para abrir el apetito, para morder con ganas la carnona, la evolución es lenta… ;-)

Mint #YerbaMate made terere style with "cold brew" fruit tea (hibiscus, blueberries, I think raspberries) is surprisingly nice :)

With the #yerba I'm drinking I'm getting closer and closer to "just dried grass" flavour 😂 Just finished a package of Kraus, and just opened a package of Meta Mate, both dried with just hot air, without smoke as is usually done ("smoked" is a separate category, and for me leaves an aftertaste of smoked mackerel 😅)

After doing some fanarts of that blue Postgres #elephant I thought about #Mastodon mascot too. And later though, why not both?
It was some jokes in friend group during online gaming about #elephants drinking #yerba (some of us drink it more or less often). We wondered if they would drink it using their trunks. En asturiano a las zonas encharcadas se las llama “Güelga o Buelga” cuya traducción literal al castellano sería “Huella” y no “Huelga”. Es algo que se hace de forma recurrente con muchos topónimos que así pierden todo su sentido descriptivo, creando la nada inocente confusión de dar a entender que en ese sitio sucedió un épico acontecimiento de la lucha obrera. Cosas que pasan al pretender corregir una fea falta de ortografía a unos pobres aldeanos que no saben hablar.

Pod postem z tajgerkiem na FB wyszła mała dyskusja na temat szkodliwości różnych specyfików i to mi przypomniało, że chciałam wrócić do picia yerby - i że może czas najwyższy wprowadzić to w życie. 🙂
Pozyskuję kofeinę z różnych źródeł - energetyków nie powinnam jednak pić w ogóle, bo szkodzą mi na żołądek. W 2019/2020 roku, kiedy pracowałam i równocześnie studiowałam, a do tego brałam inne neuroleptyki niż teraz, potrafiłam przyjmować dziennie takie dawki kofeiny, jakie zdrowego człowieka zapewne wysłałyby na cmentarz... To już przeszłość, ale poranna kawa plus druga kawa lub/plus coś ekstra to teraz moja codzienność. Yerba to dla mnie dobre rozwiązanie, chociaż miałam już sytuację, że jakiemuś fanatykowi zdarzyło się spłakać, bo piję różne zielone yerby z owocami i kwiatami, a nie klasyczny wywar z kiepów. xD Bardzo nie lubię gorzkiego smaku, swoją drogą.
Zajrzałam do sklepu Poyerbani i skusiłam się na "gamingową" xD yerbę, ale niekoniecznie dlatego, że jest gamingowa - fajny smak+wysoka moc+przecena... i zamówiłam. 🙂
Jest dobra, a że żłopię ją o już dość późnej godzinie... Zobaczymy kto wygra, yerba czy Latuda+Lerivon. 😃 -
I don't know if it's a #yerba #yerbamate thing, or a #caffeine thing, but if you haven't given it enough fuel to burn (I.e. "eaten something") the results are rather unpleasant.

Gestern kam neuer #Tee und außerdem zwei neue Kalebassen aus Keramik. Den #Mate habe ich bisher aus einer doppelwandigen Edelstahl #Kalebasse getrunken, mir dabei aber regelmäßig die Zunge verbrannt.
Die Keramik liegt besser in der Hand und der Tee ist schneller genießbar 🍵 -

Original: nutritional values are for 50g per 200ml of water (at least somewhat implying that's what you'll use). Fill container in 2/3-3/4, pour 1/4 of cold water, let it sit for 2 minutes, then pour 3/4 of 80°C water.
German sticker: use 12g for 1L of 90°C water. -

everyone we know drinks #tea and #coffee so we wanted to give something different, south american #yerbamate. 100% none of them tried it, so we bought a matecup and bombilla straw, bundled with 6 different infused taste profiles that we've split and bagged plus one bag of fancy #chocolates.
hopefully it's not so bad. we did try one and it was pretty mild, a bit of a reminiscent of #matcha.

I like #yerba. I've been debating for a while where to get one of the "traditional" "cups" for it, instead of doing various things with sieves or mugs. This is my experiment with something roughly the size and shape, while also possibly answering "what if I would want to take it with me somewhere" 😂
Yeah, it will be hard to hold when hot, but I don't like it hot anyway, so using "quite warm" water should cover both of those aspects.

I tried brewing yerba mate with my espresso machine using the tea profile that comes with gaggiuino and I don't think I ever had yerba this delicious before. A classic gourd doesn't come close at all.

Das Holz meiner alten Kalebasse ist brüchig und undicht geworden, deshalb musste jetzt eine neue her. Dieses Mal etwas moderner und aus Edelstahl - und gleich mit einer etwas kürzeren Bombilla in der Hoffnung, dass ich den Tee nicht mehr so oft umstoße 🧉

After #brewing #yerba for a while mostly in french press, and previously in a mug, I figured I'll try to replicate the "authentic" experience, put a lot of it in a small cup (around/under 200ml, filled about half), and as per "some video" poured some hot water to be absorbed, then pouring hot water from a thermos and drinking soon after that.
News at 11, if you make it different it comes out different 🤣
Better? No idea, but at least for now the novelty amuses me :)

My search for "#yerba on the go" led me to exitence of "Yerbomos" - a container specifically designed for this, with somewhat interesting operation (see image descriptions). But most are mostly plastic... And then someone mentioned Mate Justo https://www.matejusto.com.ar/mate-justo/ which is nice and all steel, but doesn't exist outside of Argentina, apparently 😅
