I really want to get a new controller for my linux gaming PC running Bazzite and docked Steam Deck play. I bought one of the cheap PXN controllers and was pretty impressed with it, but the right trigger was stuck in the hair trigger mode. I ended up returning it to Amazon. I was thinking of spending a little more on a Cyclone 2 from Gamesir.
Any thoughts or suggestions? I'd like gyro and back buttons (like the Steam Deck).

Es sind oft Kleinigkeiten, die Probleme lösen. Mein Lenovo Notebook hatte unter Linux einen extrem hohen Akkuverbrauch im Ruhezustand. Über Nacht von 100% auf 20%.
Durch Zufall fand ich einen hilfreichen Tipp: Im BIOS vom Notebook den Eintrag "Sleep State" von "Windows" auf "Linux" ändern. Perfekt - seit der Umstellung ein kaum merkbarer Stromverbrauch.

I love middle click to paste and use it daily.
There is a little known feature in Chrome (and Firefox?): you can *middle click* on the new tab icon (the "+") and it will navigate to the URL you have in your primary clipboard.
This makes it so so fast to go to a bare URL shown in a terminal: double click and drag to select, middle click to open a new tab. Easy!

TIL that I can copy paste from a terminal using CTRL+SHIFT+c and CTRL+SHIFT+v on Linux, after 18 years of daily usage.
When you don't have a mouse, it's so much easier than using SHIFT+INSERT or right click copy, right click paste.

Subject: "systemctl suspend" on Linux is not reliable.
How long has it been since last time I used the the emergency sync SysRq?
Today traveled to Surakarta for a family event, I departed from Sragen. I suspended my laptop with "systemctl suspend" and put it into my backpack.
When I arrived in Surakarta, I opened my bag and felt my bag was so hot. It turned out that my laptop was on (not in a sleep state) and everything was spinning at 100% CPU (especially firefox and vscode).
I had a chance to check htop and tried to kill firefox with "pkill -9 firefox", but then the system froze.
When the GUI froze, I could still see my caps lock button was still working indicated by the caps lock LED on-off still responed to my input.
I tried to jump to tty4 and tried to login, but then soft lockup warnings appeared, everything froze. I could not login from tty4 neither.
I invoked an emergency sync procedure (Alt+SysRq+s) and forced my laptop off. Unfortunately, the SysRq to print backtrace was disabled. I am not sure how to debug this.
I hope this was not a kernel bug, just hope it was a random bit flip in my RAM caused by an extrme temperature that led to this scary incident.
Hopefully, my persistent filesystem will still be ok, not corrupted.

Kleiner Nachmittagstipp: `journalctl -p err -b` zeigt euch alle Fehler seit dem letzten Boot. Spart das wilde Scrollen durch endlose Logs und ist Gold wert, wenn mal wieder „irgendwas“ nicht funktioniert. ☕
Bonus: Mit `--since "1 hour ago"` schränkt ihr's zeitlich ein. Systemd kann ja nerven, aber journalctl gehört zu den Dingen, die ich nicht mehr missen möchte.
