Ich möchte mal stolz verkünden, dass wir heute die 90ste Selbsthilfegruppe auf unseren @ZenDiT Servern Willkommen geheißen haben. Ob #matrix oder #nextcloud oder #peertube, die Selbsthilfegruppen nutzen alles. Der Altersdurchschnitt der User ist übrigens bei 65 und der älteste User ist 88. Danke für Euer Vertrauen.

Pues hoy, tras una buena temporada, he vuelto a husmear un poco en #Matrix a ver cómo marcha la cosa.
Sigue sin gustarme #Element, ahora reemplazada por #ElementX.
He probado también con #SchildiChat, que ahora está tambien reemplazada por #SchildiChatNext, y... joer, es que es Element con peluca. Literalmente, es la misma app y solo le añaden una cosa llamada "Tortu-extras" que son dos opcioncillas insignificantes.
Sigo sin verle razón de ser a Matrix, no aporta nada respecto a XMPP y encima huele mal.

Truth is, I don't have anyone else to endlessly babble about these features, landing page tweaks, or where this whole 'programmable forge' thing is heading. I desperately need REAL HUMANS to tell me if I'm building a masterpiece or just talking to myself.

@daniel never used WA, SIGNAL with some people, feeling at home with #matrix (#fluffy on ubuntu touch and Linux), being in #conversations with nobody (just once in a while - I guess people feel strangely alone there although I like it!) and testing #skred with somebody.

In der aktuellsten Version 26.01.1 von Git kann man jetzt auch Spaces bearbeiten. Also ein weiterer Grund von Element Basic zu wechseln.https://github.com/element-hq/element-x-android/releases

Wenn ich mir die Kontaktmöglichkeiten von Datensicherheits-Forschenden anschaue, wie zB @bkastl @evawolfangel @kuketzblog (Folge-Empfehlung für alle drei), dann bieten diese sichere Kommunikations-Kanäle an, wie:
verschlüsstelte Mail, Matrix, Threema, Signal.
Und ich frage mich, warum eine solche (oder ähnliche) Kombi nicht Standard ist, für alle, die sensible Personendaten verarbeiten, wie zB
Ärzt:innen, Rechtsanwält:innen, Steuerberater:innen, uns weitere ...?
(Bitte antwortet nicht mit sowas wie: "Aber das Fax ...!" - Danke!)

I use a #Librem5 as my daily phone:
- Full device disk encryption with #LUKS
- #PureMaps for navigation. GNOME Maps for looking, searching on a map. Both #OpenStreetMap based.
- WiFi just works
- In the past I used Mullvad VPN, but recently not tested any more.
- Synchronization via ssh/scp. I could very probably also use Nextcloud client, but did not test that.
- Signal Desktop
- #Fractal for #Matrix
- I use vim (mostly over ssh)(1/2)

Die VM ist fast so alt, wie ich für die Firma arbeite. Nun zieht eine Firma das Ganze auf ESS Enterprise um (einzelne VM mit k3s, weil ….) und ich habe vorerst weniger Arbeit an der Backe 😊

Gestern Abend „schnell“ noch #matrixorg Synapse Update in der Firma machen wollen. Service kommt nicht wieder … Log sagt, will #PostgreSQL Minimum 14 oder 15(?). Ich:🙄 Dann eben Rollback: apt install synapse…=<Alte Version> . Debian sagt: 🤷
Ich so: 🤨 .. apt-cache policy… 😨. WTF .. dann ls /var/cache/apt/archives/*synapse* … ☺️ dpkg -I …. Rest ist history …Man ey, hasse Doku zu lesen .. aber hey, heute nochmal, aber vorher Postgres von 13 auf 15 😆
