We remember asking for #QT on fedi, not in so few letters, but we did ask.
Someone explanted that fedi was different. People found #QTs to be abusive on the #dotcons. We thought about that and basically instantly realised that our past #behaviour may have been less civil.
We adjusted.
I do not believe in yeilding to them (and many bots) who have descended upon Fedi, and specifically it seems, #Mastodon servers, in the past couple months.
They should learn like we did.

Slow-boil threats to #Fediverse.
One attack seems to involve random people spinning up instances they can't maintain and then they put them on #CAGEMAFIA-servers with reasoning like they can't afford the money to setup things properly, they are under attack, they are ill etc.
Then there are influencer-type accounts, and once they have a lot of followers they simply move them, with their followers to a #dotCon server.
These could legitimately be called #DotConCatFishing.

Interesting. We checked a while back and found that the three initial banks were being #MITMd by #CloudFlare and another #dotcon.
Allegedly, "#bitcoin-accepting" #banks are being targetted. Ie. banks that allowed people to move between bitcoin and #fiat are the ones having their confidence undermined. Apparently #ElizabethWarren is partly involved for an open letter that caused an initial run.
No doubt they will try to capitalise on all this by starting the #CBCD.

That is the latest from their I2P implementation.Re timing of the attack: its likely a response to being integrated into the #bitcoin network. First a #botFarm attack on #dotCon-based #messageBoards in an attemp to have I2Ps page banned. Then other network attacks followed, now zzz and their site is completely disappeared.
While #I2Pd exists and is a good, its targetted to the power user and lacks a native #torrenting client. Though, the last thing zzz did was release a standalone.

The development side of #MakingHistory
Building radical alternatives is not just about ideas—it’s about infrastructure. The #makeinghistory project is grounded in the messy, often frustrating work of creating tools that actually function for real communities. We’ve spent decades watching #dotcons centralize power while open projects stumble due to lack of focus, infighting, or simply being too obscure for everyday use.
#Makinghistory means stepping outside the cycle of dead-end open-source projects that never reach real people. We need bridging solutions, funding models outside the #NGO trap, and devs who understand grassroots needs. It’s not about innovation for its own sake, it’s about making the #openweb function better as a lived alternative.

#Hashtags have potential to be used for social change. They create connections between people, amplify voices, and mobilize communities. When used effectively, they transform individual expressions into collective movements. However, the current culture presents significant challenges to this.
The Problem of #StupidIndividualism
Today we are shaped by #stupidindividualism, on this path hashtags become acts of individual expression rather than collective tools for change. This individualistic approach hides the potential for constructive use. Instead of fostering solidarity and shared purpose, hashtags become fragmented and lose any meaning and thus impact.
#Dotcons as temples of the #Deathcult
Tech silos like Facebook (#failbook) and generally the dominant digital corporations (#dotcons) exacerbate this problem. Their business models and design promote individualism over community, a culture obsessed with profit and control at the expense of human values—creates a landscape where meaningful social change is impossible to achieve.
