Thought the first half was one of our best half’s for quite a while. The fluidity & speed we were attacking with was great.

Thought for the Week
"The road from bad to good often has a little stretch of awful in between. It takes a whole lot of courage to face and go through the awful stretch, but it will be totally worth it when you do. "Doe Zantamata Lady Dyanna offers email service in Spiritual Development and Tarot Readings

I thought everyone was a potential friend. It took me years to understand my father’s betrayal. At 73, I still live with it.
A new piece from my autistic life: “Not Everyone Was My Friend.”

🌟 Final thought for the week:
The devs who stand out aren't the ones who know the most.
They're the ones who:
→ Ship consistently
→ Communicate clearly
→ Learn from failures publicly
→ Help others generously
→ Stay curious without burning outCode is craft. Treat it like one.
Thank you for following me on this journey. More to come 🚀

Mike McCarthy thought Patrick Queen had a good week: “I thought PQ had an excellent week. And frankly, we cut him loose on some pressures early, activated him, and gave him a little more ownership in exactly what we’re doing in the play-caller meetings, and the things that are going on. So yeah, you definitely see growth.” #Steelers #NFL

Charles Leclerc admits he thought he had a chance of winning the United States Grand Prix, as he expected Kimi Antonelli’s one-stop strategy to be tough to execute.
"Based on our numbers, he would start to struggle a bit more towards the end of the race," said Leclerc. "He never really struggled towards the end of the race."

Aaron Rodgers thought Warren and Dowdle both had a good game against the Saints: “I thought those guys both played really good. I thought Rico had a nice week last week, another nice week this week. We're not going to get numb to it, but we're almost expecting Jaylen to have 100 yards and make some splash plays. He's just so dynamic. Love those guys. We knew coming in we could run it against them, and I thought those guys played really well.” #Steelers #NFL

I've always thought Alan Ford comics were unfilmable, untranslatable into any other medium, let alone film or TV..... until I watched It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
If someone is going to do it, it should be inspired by that with a dash of Apple's Slow Horses. It's a silly, long running comicbook that has some timeless themes explored by a group of swindlers and idiots.

"You may have thought that Ofcom’s job is to ensure due impartiality—ie to make sure that, as the law dictates, you can’t actually have a right-wing broadcaster. But it appears that Sir Ian hasn’t got the stomach for that battle. So, instead, why not create a leftie channel to balance it?
A nod’s as good as a wink. Sir Ian seems to be suggesting that he’d be totally cool if Purvis and I were to launch a rabidly left-wing channel to mirror the nightly Reform propaganda that spews out of GB News. The more I think about it, the more I think he’s onto something.
I think we will call it GB Woke—Triggering Britain 24/7. In the Farage slot we will have a nightly edition of Zack Attack in which the Green Party leader will explain how to save the planet, abolish billionaires, bin Israel and ban the Daily Mail. His weekend show, Zack to the Future, will be dubbed Just Stop Everything! and will be an hour of climate emergency and direct action. He will alternate with How Dare You?, a punchy half-hour of civil disobedience training with Greta Thunberg.
The Corbyn Hour will be dedicated to The News They Don’t Want You to Hear and will be a spirited, movement-driven rejoinder to Jacob Rees-Mogg. Jeremy and his guests will discuss economic justice and anti-austerity, along with peace and anti-imperialism. But in a fun way."

@markhepburn Didn't give it that much thought. Just added the ones that I felt was important to me.
Now, the Dying Fetus album should probably be Bathe In Entrails instead, since it has Grotesque Impalement on it, but it wasn't available.

A minor but useful line of thought - that I got from reading an interview with Gloria Steinem - was to respond to various critiques with the question: "compared to what?"
It can be surprising how well this works - i.e. to highlight when a criticism is just there to sound negative.
Other useful counterparts are:
- "how does this help?"
- "whereas you would have done (/ have us do) what?"And all these are useful to apply to one's own utterances, as a value check before emitting or publishing.
