Sometimes my child tells me I look fat in something without me asking.

I really hate the idea of "snacking."
If you're eating your meals and drinking your water, you have no reason to snack throughout the day. It's all just added calories.
And even if you are 'peckish' you should be eating veggies, not bags of chips and cookies.
I say this as a parent with unlimited 'snacks' in the house for my wife and kid. 🙃

I did over 10,000 steps yesterday for the first time in forever and my body this morning feels like it was hit by a truck.
I can lift weights during my morning workouts and do my yard work with little 'hangover' but just walking a few thousand steps really turns my body into mush.
Even when I was younger and in better shape, I hated running. It's kinda funny.

Accidentally removed hair from my arm while barbecuing dinner tonight.
Some of the marinade from the chicken dripped down into the pit causing huge flare-ups which singed off the hair from my arm.
Now I gotta shave my other arm to make it look even. like that one episode of Seinfeld

I've entered a weird stage of adulting.
We had our kid late in life (37). And so our kid is still small, but now our parents are rapidly aging. So we're being stretched from child care to senior care. Zooming from kid's activities to parent's doctor appointments and health scares.
Messed up.

Had a medical scare today. It's been getting worse.

I've been a bit absent on here due to a lot going on but I wanted to share the latest in #DadLife adventures. My daughter used too much toilet paper and blocked the toilet and so I went out of the room to boil some water to try and unblock it because that's what worked last time and so I come back in and she is on the toilet again. Apparently she was busting and just did a giant poo in the blocked up toilet (ps. we have a 2nd toilet downstairs) and so now it's even more blocked up with a giant poo on top. Anyway, this is maybe a story I bring out at her 18th or something wow. Just wow. 🫠
