Went for a walk yesterday afternoon. Took a photo down the main street of my home town. The snow was falling lightly and had not yet been cleared. So some of the white stuff was all over the reads, walkways and vehicles. The temperature was -9C but with the wind it felt like -15C.
It reminded me that we always need to adapt to the conditions we face. I was well bundled up in layers of appropriate clothing. What has it been like in your part of the world? #Exercise #Adapt #MoveForward

First movie of 2026: X2.
I remember watching this a few times for free when it was in theaters. This would have been a few years in my theater career, and the first summer I was running a projection booth. It still holds up pretty well. The stuff at the end with Jean even played as affecting today, to some extent. Too bad the director turned out to be a little shit.
My kid enjoyed this as well - she sympathized with the plight of Rogue.

Many probably won't remember but in the mid 2000s, there was the last "Format War" we saw in the Home Video Entertainment business - namely HD DVD from Toshiba vs. Blu-ray from Sony. While the latter succeeded, I began to collect several stuff from the first format and last weekend I was unboxing a BRAND NEW and still SEALED HD DVD Player from 2007. 😍
