SVリーグ男子はこの記事を書いている今、チャンピオンシップ決勝の2戦目が行われているところですが、女子の方はひと足早く終わってしまって、私もちょっとした喪失感を味わっているところです。このタイミングで各チームによるファン感謝イベントが開催されていますが、我らがヴィクトリーナ姫路のファン感謝DAY 2026が今日開催されたので、去年に引き続き私も参加してきました。開場の1時間半ほど前から並んだ甲斐あって、なかなか見やすくて良い席を取ることができました。
席を取った後は珍しく物販会場へ向かい、新グッズとして発売された「ロゴ刺繍キャップ」を購入し、会場でも早速かぶっていました。私はこれまでグッズを購入したことがなかったのですが、普段使いできるものが欲しいと思っていて、このキャップなら問題ないので購入したのでした。チームカラーがビビッドなピンクなので、そのままグッズにすると使いづらいのですが、黒地にロゴ等をワンポイント入れるなど、控えめに主張した衣類やバッグなどがあるといいと常々思っていたので嬉しいです。
さて、初めて参加した昨年ではまさかのクイズ王になってトロフィーをいただくなんていう事件がありましたが、イベントの内容は年ごとに異なるようで、今年はクイズ大会ではなく、選手とスタッフがチームに分かれて対戦するゲーム大会となっていました。クイズ王2連覇を狙う意気込みだったのでちょっと残念だったりもしますが、昨年だけの貴重な機会に優勝できたのだとすると、逆に価値があるようにも思えてきます。
ゲームの内容はいくつかありましたが、最初のゲームが特に良かったです。順に表示される写真に映っている4〜5名の選手の名前を当て、その選手の背番号の和を計算して答えるというものでしたが、その写真というのがそれぞれの幼少期の可愛らしい姿を写したもので、何人かは面影があって私にもわかりましたが、そう簡単なものではありません。といっても毎日見慣れている同僚の選手やスタッフにはわかるものなのか、なかなかの正答率だったのは驚きです。
ゲームのあとは昨年同様、先日発表されたとおり退団する選手とスタッフを送り出すセレモニーがありましたが、泣いてしまう選手がほとんどで、感動的なものでした。イ・ジェヨン選手も外国人選手ではただ一人このイベントに参加して、通訳を介して韓国語で涙ながらに結構長い挨拶をしてくれました。ジェヨン選手は終盤離脱してしまっていたのが残念でしたが、ヴィクトリーナに馴染んで、姫路を好きでいてくれたようなのが嬉しかったです。その他の選手も引退というわけではなく、来季は新天地でということなので、見かけることがあればそっと応援したい気持ちになりました。
なお、今回のイベントには膝の手術後でリハビリ中の野末朋那選手も車椅子で、昨年に続いてのMCとして参加していました。野末選手は非常に愛嬌があって人気のようですが、今日も笑顔を振りまいてなかなかの存在感がありました。来季は膝をしっかり完治させて、コート上でも存在感を発揮してもらいたいものです。

My loot today:
Game Boy Color games (incl. some special stuff)
Model trains (incl. Neon Genesis Evangelion style trains)The trains have been well hidden in the back of the top shelf. I don't know how a japanese person should have been able to find them as it was even high up for me :)
The only weak point in this buy is the Yamanote line train as it has written "weak motor" next to the price.
Maybe it will need some extra love ;) -

The only weak point in this buy is the Yamanote line train as it has written "weak motor" next to the price.
Maybe it will need some extra love ;) -
