In der Vergangenheit viel ausprobiert und getestet und nun ist es endgültig soweit. Dieses Instanz geht produktiv an den Start.
Da das Fediverse von einer Vielfalt an Servern lebt, war mein Gedanke, mich nicht einfach mit einem Account auf einem der großen Server zu registrieren. Das widerspricht dann ja auch irgendwann dem Gedanken der Dezentralisierung. Deshalb habe ich mich dazu entschieden, eine eigene Mastodon-Instanz ins Leben zu rufen.Eigentlich ist Mastodon ja eine Microblogging Plattform. Da ich mich aber auch manchmal im Text verlieren kann und kein Ende finde, habe ich mich dazu entschlossen, die Zeichenbegrenzung auf 5000 Zeichen anzuheben. Wahrscheinlich werde ich dies nie ausnutzen und ich mag eigentlich auch nicht diese langen Texte bei Mastodon, aber ich könnte wenn ich wollte. Wie heißt es so schön, haben ist besser als brauchen 🙈😂
Meine Interessen liegen bei der Technik (wie zum Beispiel alles was sich so um Serveranwendungen, Docker, eigenen Mailserver und Dinge die einem den Alltag leichter machen, dreht), Lokales (Henstedt-Ulzburg, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, und drumherum) und auch alles was den Radverkehr betrifft, da ich selbst auch im ADFC Henstedt-Ulzburg aktiv bin.
Ich habe die Registrierung bei social.krserv.de geöffnet, aber Neuankömmlinge müssen vorher bestätigt werden, bevor sie richtig loslegen können. Spammer und Trolle haben leider auch wie zu erwarten, den Weg ins Fediverse gefunden.
Im Laufe der Zeit werden sich vielleicht noch die einen oder anderen Dinge aufzeigen, die nicht zu 100% rund laufen hier, aber wenn euch was auffällt zögert nicht, mir einfach Bescheid zu geben. Ansonsten freue ich mich nun auf einen regen Austausch.
