It's a company here in #quebec #canada that does print-on-demand merch #pod
It's actually based in Granby, QC, Canada.
Which is very close to where I live. Only 1 hour drive.
Their website looks really good.
And I just ordered a #tshirt sample.
We'll see how that goes.

I love Giant Tiger.
This winter, I replaced my #walmart shopping to go there instead.
Mostly because it's a Canadian retailer.
But it's smaller and doesn't have everything.
For example, I don't remember seeing any #electronics there.

I started playing #runescape at the young age of 5 yo
#jagex has to be one of my oldest favorite #gaming company
But overtime, they added many paid annoying mechanics known as #p2w, mostly in #rs3
But a few months ago, they announced that they were removing most of these bad mechanics
And focus on the #integrity of the game.
I mostly play #osrs but I think this is sooo cool and respectable
Jagex is a British (non-us) company and I hope more companies take note of this behavior.

I was at a #gas station to fill my car because I'm expecting gas price to keep going up
It's expensive. I paid 1,97 per L
But I also noticed this little banner on the pump saying "We prefer Debit/Interac" in french.
Of course, Canadian merchants prefer #interac. It's #visa and #mastercard that have higher fees
This hidden tax is obviously passed to consumers on every product. Maybe everything would be cheaper without it
I'm excited for the launch of #RTR in #canada and see what happens

Until #rtr launches in #canada,
I have decided to let go of my credit card and stick to my Visa Debit card.
For now, I think it is the best way to pay:
- Uses #interac (a Canadian tech) whenever possible
- Uses #visa otherwiseIt obviously means I'll lose the benefits from using my CC.
The only perk that I was actually using was the monthly 5-15$ from cashback.
Which is pretty negligible considering it is also taxable.
I'll just keep the CC as backup if the Visa Debit fails.

In 2026 or early 2027, #canada should launch Real-Time Rail (#rtr)
That's basically a new modernised payment system that I hope will:
- Cut out middlemen like #visa and #mastercard
- Replace the outdated #interacRTR should be faster and work online.
Can't wait for it!

Burg Nollig in Lorch im Rheingau
Ende März war ich für drei Tage im Rheingau für Wandern, Genuss und Kultur. Vor der Ankunft in der Unterkunft machte ich einen Abstecher zur Burgruine Nollig in Lorch, von der man einen einzigartigen Blick auf Lorch und das Rheintal hat. -
Jetzt ist wieder die Zeit, in der Menschen, die zweimal im Jahr mit mehreren Stunden Zeitunterschied in den Urlaub fliegen und danach total erholt zurückkommen, sich darüber beschweren, wie schlecht und ungesund doch diese eine Stunde Uhrumstellung ist und sie jetzt mehrere Wochen nicht schlafen können.

Dahner Felsenpfad wandern mit Genuss
Bereits 2024 wanderten Manuela und ich den Dahner Felsenpfad, der durch seine Sandfelsen, Wälder und Aussichten fasziniert. Eine Einkehr auf der Wanderung in der Pfälzerwaldhütte „Im Schneiderfeld“ und danach ein Entspannen bei Eis und Kuchen in „Blümchen & Beere“ steigern die Attraktivität der Wanderung zusätzlich.

This political labelling is getting out of hand.
We are at the point where anyone who is slightly left of center is a communist, socialist, or social justice warrior (SJW), and anyone who is slightly right of center is a fascist and racist. And the people in the center, the moderates and swing voters, they just get attacked from both sides.
All of this labelling and generalizing is not healthy and does not produce an accurate worldview because people assume traits about people based on a frequently inaccurate label. People are not all the same. People are not whatever label you apply to them.

I don´t think I have seen these search refinements on Bing image SERPs before: For ambiguous search terms, they show more specific search terms with 4 portrait images each on the second screen.
I do like this, as it breaks up the large number of images that are usually shown.
