The last time I was in Prince Edward Island (that'd be in 2015), I took some long-ish exposure shots of the waves from a beach at sunset, just for the fun of it. I think this one is my favorite. It almost looks like a painting.

Fjallsjökull glacier, which drains into Fjallsárlón glacier lagoon, in Southeast Iceland. I took this photo in 2017. I wonder how much the glacier has retreated since.

I didn't get around to take any photos of the daffodils (narcissus?) in our front yard last year but I made sure I did this year.

We saw so many Greylag geese in Iceland last May. Fun fact: its scientific name, Anser anser, translates as "Goose goose." 😀

A hummingbird moth (not sure which kind) feasting on our butterfly bush, which has been very popular among pollinators this summer.

Here's some free range cows we met in Norway. They were hanging out in the middle of the road but kindly let us pass unscathed.

Morning! I'm really people'd out today after having had to deal with people for three days out of seven already this week, but do I get a break today? Of course not. People are such energy vampires. Ugh.

Never seen a Japanese beetle in my garden until yesterday. Hopefully, to quote the spousal unit, it was just "a single dummy that got lost." Until I start seeing any real damage, I'm putting my faith on the birds to be their predators. We do get a lot of birds visiting our garden daily.

This is the first #ptarmigan I've ever seen in the wild. I saw it in Iceland almost ten years ago. It was May and I think it's the time of year #ptarmigans are transitioning their plumage from the white, winter one to the darker, summer plumage. This ptarmigan is a male as indicated by the red eyebrow. Apparently ptarmigan is the traditional Christmas dinner in #Iceland.

This was my favourite tree in #Waterloo Park for years. It was a sad day when I came here to admire it one day and all I saw was a stump. 😢 I took this photo with an all-plastic, featureless, #35mm film camera, a Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim. It was my favourite #trashcam.

This photo of the Grotto at Georgian Bay's Bruce Peninsula National Park near Tobermory, Ontario is from the summer of 2004. I shot it with a hand-me-down, 2MP Kodak point-and-shoot digital camera which was like the height of photo technology for me at the time. We drove there on my then-buddy-now-spousal-unit's crappy Thunderbird with non-functional A/C and it was boiling! We've sure come a long way since then.

I'm not really a #boardgamer but the spousal unit is and he owns around 1,500 #boardgames so I've had my share of #boardgaming in my life. Thought I'd jump into the #7BoardGames to Know Me bandwagon.
